Cat boarding in the GTA

Let's start with the basics

For the health and safety of every guest, we board indoor, fully vaccinated cats only.

Please add your cat's name, both dates, and a valid email — check-out must be after check-in.

Looking for a cat hotel in Toronto? Here's the honest version.

Most people typing "cat hotel Toronto" are picturing the same things: somewhere comfortable, somewhere attentive, somewhere that sends updates. A boutique cat hotel promises that with suites and check-in desks. We deliver it with something simpler — an actual home.

A cat hotel or boarding facility

Private "suites" or condos your cat spends much of the day inside · staff working in shifts · a commercial building with facility sounds and constant turnover.

bbcat — the cat hotel that's a home

Whole sunny rooms instead of suites — cage-free, always · the same two hosts present morning to night · a quiet residential home with a fixed daily routine and daily photo & video updates.

Door-to-door from every corner of Toronto

Etobicoke, High Park, Parkdale, Liberty Village, downtown, Midtown, North York, East York, the Beaches, Scarborough — the Cat Chauffeur covers all of Toronto. Your cat travels in a secure carrier in a quiet, climate-controlled vehicle, door to door, both ways or one-way. Living in Etobicoke? You're the closest of all — it's the shortest ride to Oakville of any Toronto neighbourhood. Add the Chauffeur during booking, and you'll see the price before anything is confirmed.

Why Toronto families board with us instead of a city facility

A downtown condo cat's biggest boarding risks are stress and boredom — a cage in a busy facility amplifies both. Here, your cat gets sunny, human-sized rooms with cat trees and scratch posts, scheduled meals at 9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM, daily brushing and individual play, and two hosts who work from home full-time. You get photos and videos every single day — the thing our Toronto reviewers mention most, especially when they're travelling far.

Where is bbcat, exactly?

We're in a quiet home in Oakville, near Dundas & Trafalgar — roughly 30–45 minutes from downtown and west Toronto via the QEW, a bit more from the east end. Many Toronto families make the drive because truly cage-free, in-home boarding is hard to find in the city — and the rest let the Cat Chauffeur handle it entirely. Either way, your cat spends their stay in a real home, not a facility.

Toronto cat parents ask us

Is bbcat a cat hotel? We're what people hope a cat hotel in Toronto will be — comfort, attention, daily updates — minus the "hotel" part. No suites, no cages, no front desk: whole rooms in a real home, with hosts instead of shift staff.

How does pickup from Toronto actually work? Choose the Chauffeur when you book. On check-in day we collect your cat at your door in a secure carrier; when you're back, we return them the same way — with any leftover food and an honest recap of the stay.

Do you cover Scarborough, North York, and East York? Every corner of Toronto, yes — and Etobicoke families have the shortest trip of all.

I'll be overseas — how do updates work? Photos and videos go to your phone every single day of the stay, wherever in the world you are. Several of our longest stays have been families abroad for months.

What does a Toronto stay cost? Boarding is from $29.99/night for your first cat ($24.99 for each additional). Chauffeur pricing shows right in the booking form before you confirm, HST is added on your invoice, and payment is only collected at drop-off.

Do you take short stays? Yes — pricing is simply per night, with no long-stay requirement. Weekend and overnight guests are as welcome as month-long ones.

  • Nothing to prepay — payment happens at drop-off, and cancelling before your stay begins costs you nothing.
  • Every guest arrives vaccination-verified (Rabies + FVRCP), and every booking carries an emergency-vet protocol.
  • Daily photo and video updates — to Toronto or Tokyo, wherever you are.
  • People present all day in one consistent home — not a Rover sitter's visit, not a cattery's cage.
