Drop off

Cat can be dropped off at our home at 3057 Postridge Drive, Oakville, ON, L6H 0S1 on the day of the stay between 7 AM and 10 AM.

All cats must arrive in secure and preferably adequately spacious, individual carriers with a name tag written on the carrier.

All cats must be accompanied by their food and feeding schedule. For the little ones who follow a buffet/free feeding schedule, we will follow this for the beginning days as the new guests will be separated in a room to themselves. Once the guests decide to hang out with other cats in other space in this house, we will not be able to follow this schedule as we don’t want guests to eat each other's food for health concerns, unless the guests stay in a private room. Instead, you can provide your preferred schedule (time and amount) or follow our general 9-3-9 lthree-time feeding everyday. We suggest not to bring automatic feeder unless the guest is staying in a private room for health concerns for all our guests here.

It is encouraged for cats to bring their own food bowls or disposable bowls, 1 toy we suggest bigger ones better than small ones (sometimes cats bring it to their secret corner and we can’t find the toy), and 1 article of clothing from their parents. Please don’t bring cat towers. 

 

What to expect in the first few days

Every bb starts in an intake room, which has no other cats. This gives the newcomer time to acclimate to the new humans, place, and smells. Depending on the bb’s comfort, they are gradually allowed to explore more areas of the home and interact with other cats.

Important: All cats have different personalities, and adapt to the new space at their own pace. Some bbs are shy and hide in their carriers for most of the entirety of their stay, some bbs take about a week to adjust to the place, while some can roam around right away as soon as they are out of their carriers. While we cannot guarantee how long your bb would take to get used to our home and warm up to us, we ensure we keep bb as comfortable as possible and communicate with you every day to update you on which stage your bb is at.

During the Stay

Cats get to enjoy plenty of sun, space for zoomies, naps, and catnip (unless opted out). They get daily complimentary eye cleaning, brushes and pets. We take a lot of videos and pictures of your bb, which we share regularly. 

 

Pick Up

When it's time for the bb to go home, we request you visit us between 5 PM and 8 PM. We will bring your bb to your vehicle in the same carrier it arrived in, with all the items brought for the stay.
